Our Commitment to Responsible AI Use

A Plain-English Policy for Our Clients

Our Commitment to Responsible AI Use

We want you to know exactly how we use artificial intelligence (AI) in our work with you. That is not a legal formality. It is a professional commitment.

AI tools are part of how we do our best work. But they are tools, not decision-makers. Every recommendation we give you, every deliverable we produce, and every strategy we build is reviewed, verified, and approved by a real human being before it reaches you. That human being is accountable. Full stop.

What AI Tools We Use

We use several leading AI platforms in our consulting and training work, including Claude by Anthropic, ChatGPT by OpenAI, and Gemini by Google. We may also use other AI tools on a task-specific basis. Each tool is selected because it is the best fit for the specific job, not because it is the trendiest option.

We do not experiment on your business. Before we bring any AI tool into your engagement, we know how it works, where its limits are, and what it requires from us to produce reliable output.

What We Do With Your Data

Your data does not train AI models. That is not a policy goal. It is a hard line.

Here is what that means in practice:

We do not enter your personal information, client names, property addresses, financial details, or lead data into AI tools without your explicit permission and without first removing anything that identifies you or your clients

We have disabled training data sharing on every AI platform we use. This means our conversations with AI tools are not used to teach those AI systems new things. Your business information stays in your engagement

If we need to use an AI tool that requires connecting to a system that holds your data, we will discuss it with you first, explain what data would be involved, and get your written agreement before proceeding

How We Protect the Quality of AI-Assisted Work

AI tools are remarkably capable. They are also capable of being wrong in ways that sound entirely convincing. We take that seriously.

Our quality standard includes:

Human review of every AI-assisted deliverable before it is shared with you

Independent verification of any statistics, market data, or factual claims that AI generates

Clear identification of what AI contributed and what required human expertise, when relevant to your understanding of the work

If you ever ask us whether AI was involved in something we produced for you, we will tell you the truth. We will also tell you exactly what human oversight was applied.

What We Will Never Do

Some uses of AI are simply off the table, no matter the circumstance:

We will not use AI to generate false, misleading, or deceptive content on your behalf

We will not use AI to impersonate you, your clients, or any real person

We will not use AI to produce content that is discriminatory or harmful

We will not input your confidential business information into a public AI tool without your consent

We will not use AI to bypass professional, legal, or regulatory requirements that apply to your business

How We Stay Current

AI changes quickly. A policy that made sense six months ago may be incomplete today. We review this policy quarterly to ensure our practices reflect the current state of AI capabilities and the associated risks.

Our next review dates are August 1, 2026; November 1, 2026; February 1, 2027; and May 1, 2027. If something significant changes in the AI landscape between reviews, we do not wait. We update.

Your Rights as Our Client

You have every right to ask questions about how AI is used in your engagement. You have every right to say you are not comfortable with a particular tool or approach, and we will work with you to find an alternative. And you always have the right to know, honestly, how your work was produced.

We built this practice on the idea that AI should make your business better, not more complicated. That starts with being straight with you about how we use it.
